目前日本化学螺丝株式会社正在着手研发采用碳纤维增强复合材料(CFRP)的螺丝制品。CFRP是一种使用了碳纤维的纤维强化树脂，在基础材料中使用了硬化性好、具有难燃性的环氧树脂。
该公司同时还在开发使用可塑性树脂，并能大幅度降低生产成本的制造方法。据悉，近期兼有高强度、高刚性、轻质性的材料在日本备受关注，而这些材料在不断追求轻量化的飞机和汽车等领域的应用在不断扩大。

There are many types of carbon based materials, the actual name for this type of carbon is 'CFM Peek'.
You may have heard of 'Carbon Peek', which has been used in many F1 and fighter Aircraft applications in the past, but 'CFM Peek' is a material developed around a new manufacturing process.
In this process the manufacturer is able to control the orientation of separate carbon fibres within the component, creating a part many times stronger than standard 'Carbon Peek'. In fact these bolts have a proven higher yeld strength than steel! Although they are lighter than aluminium...
Use: To replace all standard Din M5 (5mm) & M6 (6mm) screws where the use of aluminium screws is permitted. Although these bolts have proven to be strong enough for most applications, these are still a very new product, and you should limit their use to items such as: bottle cage bolts, front mech. bolts, cable grip bolts etc...
Sizes: M5 x 20 Torx-hex head / M5 x 20 Countersink head / M6 x 30 Torx-hex head screws, (Other sizes may be available shortly)
Weight: M5 x 20 Torx-hex head 0.7grams / M5 x 20 Countersink head 0.7grams / M6 x 30 Torx-hex head 1.3grams
