HDMI Goes Carbon Fiber -碳纤维USB接口
By Carbonfiber.com.cn
This HDMI cable is designed differently from all other cables. It employs a new, patent-pending DNA helix cable design, which has double the conductors of a conventional HDMI cable (24). Doing this allows for a balanced 100-ohm impedance at every point along the cable’s length. This helps reduce digital jitter, which in turns can result in data corruption. It features real silver and gold connectors, and is insulated by gas-injected polyethylene foam.
The idea is that the shorter the cable, the better the quality since the data transfers from one end to the other quicker. Since the Platinum Starlight cable is capable of transfer rates above 30 Gigabits per second, the audio and visual detail should improve as well. These transfer speeds far exceed HDMI v1.4’s speed of 10.2 Gigabits per second.
